This handheld console is a great competitor to the Steam Deck, packed with an AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme Processor on Zen4 architecture. It has eight cores and 16 threads for groundbreaking computational power. You'll get incredibly sharp and detailed picture quality thanks to its 1080p Full HD display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and AMD FreeSync technology, which means there is no tearing or stuttering.

The handheld gaming device comes with 16GB of blazing-fast LPDDR5 6400 RAM that you can swap through applications and run multiple tabs without a hitch. Storage may be your only issue, as this one comes with 512GB. However, the NVMe PCIe 4 M.2 SSD pretty much ensures snappy load times for your favorite titles. However, I think it'd be a good idea if you expanded this further with a UHS-II MicroSD card, thanks to its built-in slot.

Beyond its raw power, you can play it in different modes. There's the regular handheld mode, but you can also easily connect it to your TV using the ROG 65W HDMI adapter to game with friends on the big screen. If you want to turn it into a full-fledged gaming PC, just plug it into a keyboard and mouse via the ROG XG Mobile.

The Ally supports plenty of gaming platforms, including Steam, Xbox Game Pass, Epic Launcher, GOG Galaxy, and various cloud gaming services. Basically, if it runs on Windows, you can play it. The handheld also comes with fast-charge technology, so you can go from 0% to 50% in just 30 minutes.

This is a fantastic opportunity to grab the ASUS ROG Ally since the price fell to just $500 at Best Buy. There likely won't be another time soon when we get a massive $150 off the regular $650 price.
