The How-to Geek team was on the ground of this year's Consumer Electronics Show (CES). As usual, Las Vegas had lots to show and we scoured the show floor for the best products to look forward to this coming year. Here's what we found.

Celebrating 15 Years!
Join us in celebrating the monumental achievement of our Editor-in-Chief, Jason Fitzpatrick, reaching 15 years at How-To Geek. Assuming many roles, and wearing infinitely more hats over the years, he has been a staple of the team. IFA 2024
Celebrating 100 years of innovation, IFA 2024 brought with it new products and device form factors. How-To Geek’s Editor, Andrew Heinzman,and Editorial Director of Reviews, Justin Duino, were in Berlin, Germany, to be some of the first to go hands-on and test new CPUs from Intel and Qualcomm, laptops from Lenovo, Samsung, and Asus, and so much more.

The Made By Google 2024 event included the announcement of Google’s latest innovations in hardware and software, with a strong focus on AI integration. How-To Geek’s Editorial Director of Reviews, Justin Duino, attended the event and checked out the company’s newest products, including the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro Fold, Pixel Buds Pro 2, and the Pixel Watch 3.

XGIMI HQ and Media Tour
How-To Geek received an exclusive invitation to visit XGIMI’s headquarters and factory in Chengdu, China. There, Justin Duino, Editorial Director of Reviews, got an early hands-on preview of the MoGo 3 Pro, Elfin Flip, Aura 2, and Horizon S Pro projectors ahead of their fall launch and met with the designers and engineers responsible for bringing the products to market.

Google I/O 2024
Google took the stage at its annual developer conference to announce new generative AI advancements, including models like Veo for video and Imagen 3 for images. The company also announced that AI Overviews in Google Search would be rolling out to more people, enhanced AI capabilities in Photos, and more. How-To Geek's Editorial Director of Reviews, Justin Duino, attended the event to go hands-on with the new AI features.

Roborock HQ and Media Tour
How-To Geek was invited to an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of Roborock’s HQ and testing lab in Beijing, China. How-To Geek’s Editorial Director of Reviews, Justin Duino, met with executives, learned about how Roborock became the #1 seller of robot vacuums worldwide, and attended the global launch event of the company’s latest flagship products.

MWC 2024
Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, Spain, is one of the most influential connectivity events every year, introducing new consumer products, networking technologies, and more. How-To Geek’s team spent a week at the Fira de Barcelona Gran Via venue, meeting with thought leaders and engineers behind groundbreaking announcements.

Samsung Galaxy Unpacked
Our Editorial Director of Reviews, Justin Duino, traveled to San Jose, California, to experience Samsung’s latest flagship smartphones hands-on. He also participated in a Samsung media tour, where he and other select journalists and influencers tested the camera performance of the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

CES 2024
The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is the world’s largest in-person tech event and takes place every January in Las Vegas, Nevada. The How-To Geek team, led by Valnet’s Content Director of the General Tech Portfolio, Jason Fitzpatrick, met with over two dozen companies and captured hands-on content with some of the most exciting products coming in 2024.

Made By Google 2023
Google hosted a private event in New York City to unveil its Pixel 8 smartphone series. These are the first Android devices to take advantage of the company’s Gemini Nano large language model and other new generative artificial intelligence features. How-To Geek’s Editorial Director of Reviews, Justin Duino, was there to test all of the phone’s AI capabilities.
